Job summary

Vonachen Group in Rhinelander, WI is hiring a General Cleaner to maintain high cleanliness across facilities. You will dust, sweep, vacuum, mop, clean restrooms, and restock supplies while observing health and safety regulations and delivering friendly, responsive service.

This full-time, first-shift role runs Mon-Fri from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm with a starting wage of $17.50 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k), short- and long-term disability, and daily pay; eligibility

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
• Customer-oriented and friendly.
• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Stand and walk for long periods; frequent bending and twisting.
• Able to lift, push & pull 50lbs; flexible hours including evenings.
• Full-Time 1st Shift; Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm.
• Daily Pay available.

Responsibilities

• Clean, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning, and empty trash according to health and safety regulations.
• Stock, organize, and maintain janitor supply rooms as needed.
• Inform management immediately of safety hazards or needed repairs.
• Monitor building security and safety by locking doors after hours.
• Complete other duties and trainings as assigned by the supervisor.

The General Cleaner is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, providing high quality service levels, maintaining proper supply levels, adhering to company policies, and assisting to provide a safe working environment. This person must be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and maintain a strong commitment to customer service.

Job responsibilities:

• Clean, including, but not limited to, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning, gathering and emptying trash bins in designated building areas following all health and safety regulations.
• Stock, organize, and maintain janitor supply rooms as needed.
• Inform management immediately of any potential safety risks or hazards and/or needed repair work.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after hours.
• Complete other duties and special trainings as assigned by the supervisor.
