Job summary

Vonachen Group in Iowa is seeking a part-time General Cleaner for the 2nd shift (Monday through Saturday, 5:30 PM–9:30 PM). You will dust, sweep, vacuum, mop, and sanitize restrooms, stock janitor supplies, and help maintain a safe, clean environment for coworkers and clients.

Candidates must be 18+, have reliable transportation, and communicate well. Benefits include PTO, a 401(k) plan, and options for Daily Pay.

Responsibilities

• Clean, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning; gather and empty trash as required.
• Stock, organize, and maintain janitor supply rooms.
• Inform management of safety risks or needed repairs.
• Monitor building security and safety; lock doors after hours.
• Complete other duties and trainings as assigned by the supervisor.

The General Cleaner is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, providing high quality service levels, maintaining proper supply levels, adhering to company policies, and assisting to provide a safe working environment. This person must be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and maintain a strong commitment to customer service.

Job Responsibilities

• Clean, including, but not limited to, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning, gathering and emptying trash bins in designated building areas following all health and safety regulations.
• Stock, organize, and maintain janitor supply rooms as needed.
• Inform management immediately of any potential safety risks or hazards and/or needed repair work.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after hours.
• Complete other duties and special trainings as assigned by the supervisor.
