Job summary

Vonachen Group is seeking a General Cleaner in Normal, IL to maintain high customer satisfaction by delivering clean, safe facilities during the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 5pm-10pm).

You will perform routine cleaning, stock supplies, report hazards, and help maintain security. Requires HS diploma or GED, ability to work with little supervision, and strong communication and attention to detail.

This part-time position offers $15 per hour, PTO and 401(k) eligibility, and Daily Pay options.

Responsibilities

• Clean, including, but not limited to, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning, gathering and emptying trash bins in designated building areas following all health and safety regulations.
• Stock, organize, and maintain janitor supply rooms as needed.
• Inform management immediately of any potential safety risks or hazards and/or needed repair work.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after hours.
• Complete other duties and special trainings as assigned by the supervisor.

The General Cleaner is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, providing high quality service levels, maintaining proper supply levels, adhering to company policies, and assisting to provide a safe working environment. This person must be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and maintain a strong commitment to customer service.
