Job summary

EMS is seeking a dependable General Cleaner for the Laporte, Indiana area to join our team. Responsibilities include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping and maintaining clean spaces.

The role requires disinfecting/sanitizing surfaces, emptying trash, and cleaning stairwells, with duties as assigned. Lift up to 50 lbs may be required, and a background check and drug screen will be required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 25–50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping and general cleaning.
• Disinfecting and sanitizing surfaces.
• Emptying trash cans and maintaining clean work areas.
• Cleaning stairwells and other assigned areas.

Janitorial General Cleaner Responsibilities

• Dusting / Vacuuming/ Mopping/ Sweeping
• Disinfecting/Sanitizing Surface
• Emptying trash cans
• Cleaning stairwells
• Other duties as assigned

Janitorial Supervisor Requirements

• Lifting up to 25 - 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand & walk for long periods
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
• Must have reliable transportation
• Strong cleaning background

Janitor Benefits

• $15.00 per hour, experience dependent
