Job summary

Pritchard Industries is seeking a Day Porter/General Cleaner in Houston, TX to help maintain clean and safe facilities. Responsibilities include vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, trash removal, and cleaning restrooms and break rooms.

The ideal candidate has a professional attitude, is initiative-taking, hardworking and dependable. This is a part-time evening role: hours Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, pay rate $11.00 per hour. E-Verify participant.

Qualifications

• Experience with janitorial or general cleaning is a plus.
• Must be able to follow supervisor instructions.
• Part-time availability.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors and trash removal.
• Cleaning rest rooms and break rooms.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties to maintain a healthy, safe and sanitary facility.
• Follow supervisor instructions and complete tasks effectively.

We are seeking to hire a Day Porter/General Cleaner. You may be responsible for vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors, trash removal rest room and break room cleaning and other miscellaneous duties to ensure that building and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. Ideal candidate will have professional attitude & appearance and is initiative-taking, hardworking, dependable, and responsible.

Job Requirements

• Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.
• Prior cleaning experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Janitor experience a plus but will train.
• Reliable Transportation.
• Part-time
• Pay rate $11.00 per hour
• Hours: 4 (Monday - Friday 5-9 P.M.)
