Job summary

Pritchard Industries is hiring a Day Porter/General Cleaner in Coventry, RI. The role involves cleaning and maintenance tasks to keep facilities healthy and sanitary. The ideal candidate is motivated, dependable, and takes initiative, with opportunity for growth.

Typical shift runs 11:30 am to 8:00 pm, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Benefits include health coverage, Life insurance, LTD, FSA, and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.
• Prior cleaning experience is a plus.
• Janitor experience a plus but will train.
• Reliable Transportation.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors, trash removal and rest room and break room cleaning.
• Ensure buildings and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned to support cleaning operations.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies.

Ideal candidate will have professional attitude & appearance and is initiative-taking, hardworking, dependable, and responsible.
