Job summary

Pritchard Industries LLC in Rhode Island is seeking a Day Porter/General Cleaner to maintain clean and safe facilities. You will vacuum, mop, sweep, take out trash, and clean restrooms and break rooms to ensure a healthy, sanitary environment.

This full-time role offers a 40-hour work week, shift from 11:30 am to 8:00 pm, Monday through Friday, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health, life and long-term disability insurance, a 401K plan, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete tasks effectively.
• Prior cleaning experience is a plus.
• Reliable transportation.

We are seeking to hire a Day Porter/General Cleaner. You may be responsible for vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors, trash removal rest room and break room cleaning and other miscellaneous duties to ensure that building and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. Ideal candidate will have professional attitude & appearance and is initiative-taking, hardworking, dependable, and responsible.

Job Requirements

• Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.
• Prior cleaning experience is a plus.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Janitor experience a plus but will train.
• Reliable Transportation.
