Job summary

Southern Cleaning Services is seeking a General Cleaner to maintain a clean and orderly environment for our athletic areas, including offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, and public spaces. The ideal candidate will clean and sanitize sinks, countertops, floors, and fixtures, dust furniture, empty trash, and restock supplies while following all health and safety regulations.

Prior cleaning or housekeeping experience is preferred; you should be able to work independently with good time management

Qualifications

• Prior experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, floors, toilet facilities, and kitchen areas.
• Dusting and wiping down office furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Emptying and disposing of trash.
• Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
• Restocking supplies in bathrooms and kitchens.
• Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements.
