Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a skilled carpenter to support general construction tasks on-site. You will perform measuring, cutting, fitting, assembling, and installing wood materials while following drawings and instructions.

This role requires safe operation of hand and power tools and a commitment to quality workmanship. With 2–4 years of carpentry experience, you will collaborate with teammates, interpret plans, and uphold DPR safety standards on every project.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification required.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred.

  • Performs general carpentry work including measuring, cutting, fitting, assembling, and installing wood and related materials.
  • Reads and interprets drawings or work instructions to execute tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Operates hand and power tools safely to construct and repair structures or components.
  • Inspects completed work for accuracy, alignment, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Communicates with team members to coordinate tasks and resolve challenges.
  • Maintains tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition; follows safety policies.

Applies technical knowledge to ensure accurate measurements, secure assemblies, and high-quality workmanship.
