Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a skilled carpenter in the Denver area to perform general carpentry tasks, read drawings, and ensure high-quality workmanship. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and precise execution on projects across technology, life sciences, healthcare, and commercial sectors.

Ideal candidates will have 2–4 years of carpentry experience, an OSHA 10 certification (OSHA 30 preferred), and the ability to interpret technical drawings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification required; OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs general carpentry work including measuring, cutting, fitting, assembling, and installing wood and related materials.
• Reads and interprets drawings or work instructions to execute tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Operates hand and power tools safely to construct and repair structures or components.
• Inspects completed work for accuracy, alignment, and adherence to quality standards.
• Communicates with team members to coordinate tasks and resolve challenges.
• Maintains tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
• Follows DPR safety policies and procedures on all assigned work.

Job Summary

Performs skilled carpentry tasks related to general construction, installation, and maintenance to support project completion. Applies technical knowledge to ensure accurate measurements, secure assemblies, and high-quality workmanship. Works collaboratively with other team members to maintain productivity and uphold DPR's safety and performance standards.

Anticipated starting pay range

$29.00- $34.00
