Adventist Health Ukiah Valley is seeking a General Cardiologist to join our team in Mendocino County, Northern CA. The position is based in Ukiah, CA, near the redwoods and Northern Coastline, with a teaching hospital environment and AHMG employment.

The Cardiologist will participate in resident education, provide advanced cardiac services, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a growing program.

Job description

Adventist Health Ukiah Valley is seeking a General Cardiologist to join our team in Mendocino County of Northern CA. This is a rare opportunity to work near the redwoods and Northern Coastline just north of San Francisco in Ukiah, CA. Adventist Health Ukiah Valley is a teaching hospital with a Full Spectrum Rural Family Medicine residency program. Medical Staff are invited and expected to support the training of residents through didactics and applied clinical practice.

Qualifications & Responsibilities

• Requires providers to have experience in practicing general cardiology.
• Willing to supervise advanced practice providers.
• Shared call between multiple providers.
• Cardiologist expansion needs due to high demand/growth in area.
• Unique focus on caring for the whole person—mind, body and spirit.
• Employed model through Adventist Health Medical Group (AHMG).

• The ability to speak Spanish is preferred but not required.
• Must be comfortable with Echocardiography (EKG), Pacemaker implantation/checks, Treadmill stress testing, Transesophageal echocardiography.
• Candidates must be California licensed or eligible and meet the hospital's medical staff credentialing standards.

Compensation

Wage Scale: $508,094-$631,287
