Job summary

StaffMed Health Partners is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Cardiologist for a physician-led practice in Tucson, Arizona. This role offers a mixed schedule of clinic and inpatient work, with a strong support team and excellent quality of life in a sunny, outdoor-oriented region.

Ideal candidates will have the ability to manage a patient volume of 24–30 per day, participate in hospital consults, and enjoy a vibrant community with a low cost of living. Strong APP support and a collaborative culture await!

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology.
• MD or DO required; Arizona license or eligibility.
• Responsibilities include hospital consults, echocardiogram and EKG interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in a physician-led practice.
• Manage a patient volume of 24–30 patients per clinic day.
• Rotate inpatient care with a census of 10–25 patients.

Practice Highlights / Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
• MD or DO required; Arizona license or eligibility
• Employed, physician-led practice with collaborative culture
• Clinic schedule: 35–45 hours per week
• Patient volume: 24–30 patients per clinic day
• Hospital rotation: 7 days at a time (no call after 5 PM)
• Inpatient census: 10–25 patients
• Responsibilities include hospital consults, echocardiogram and EKG interpretation
• Dedicated structural heart team supporting high-acuity cases including STEMI and cardiogenic shock
• Strong APP support and established referral network
