Job summary

Foundation Health Partners is seeking a General Cardiologist to join Porter Heart & Vascular Center in Fairbanks, Alaska. You will work with a robust cardiovascular team in an outpatient setting to manage heart-related conditions using advanced diagnostics and therapies.

The position offers a $500k base salary plus production bonuses with total compensation anticipated at $700k–$840k and a $65k sign-on. Schedule is M-F outpatient, with CME time and housing support.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved school of medicine with licensure in state where he/she practices.
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified by appropriate certifying board. Current DEA number.
  • Must apply for and maintain Medical Staff membership and clinical privileges at appropriate facilities if required by Physician’s employment agreement.
  • Requires commitment to healthcare and concern for people in distress, critical listening skills and ability to communicate clearly, desire to work with all types of people and work as a team member and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to meet desired business outcomes while maintaining quality of care.
  • Must be willing to update skills constantly.

  • Perform and interpret nuclear cardiolite, exercise stress testing, transesophageal echocardiogram, electrical cardioversion, and loop recorder placement.
  • Assist with seeing patients in an outpatient clinic setting and interpretation of ECG’s, echocardiogram’s, holter, and event monitors.

Foundation Health Partners is seeking a General Cardiologist to join our highly experienced team at Porter Heart & Vascular Center, the only full-time cardiology clinic serving Interior Alaska and the Far North.

The Opportunity:

  • Compensation: $500k base salary + production bonuses. Expected compensation between $700k - $840k. $65k Sign-On bonus.
  • Schedule: M-F outpatient clinic. 7 weeks ATO and 2 weeks for CME.
  • Patient Panel: Outpatient setting offering patients short and long-term management of heart-related conditions.
  • Team: Robust and collaborative cardiovascular team consisting of 2 interventional cardiologists and 5 advanced practice providers.

You can expect to:
