Job summary

AAMCO Transmissions, Inc. in Canton, GA is seeking a General Automotive Technician to service a broad range of vehicle repair issues and quickly identify the cause of performance problems.

You will participate in preventative maintenance, assist other technicians, and clearly communicate findings to service writers. Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience as a General Automotive/R&R Technician.
• Hold a valid driver's license.
• Own professional grade tools to service any general repair need.
• Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Total Car Care & Preventative Maintenance.
• Assist other technicians in performing technical activities.
• Explain problems discovered during vehicle inspection to service writers and technicians.
• Continuously learn new technical information, equipment, tools and repair techniques.
• Professionally record findings so that repairs costs are accurately estimated.
