The U.S. Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) anticipates attorney vacancies in Illinois at the GS-12 through GS-15 levels. These positions are in the excepted service and will be filled through an alternative hiring process, not a competitive civil service announcement.

Required are a law degree from an ABA-accredited school and active bar membership. GS-12 requires two years of professional legal experience at GS-11 or equivalent; GS-13 requires more than two years; GS-14 more than three;

Formación

• Must possess a law degree (J.D. or LL.B.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active membership in the bar of the highest court of a State, U.S. commonwealth, U.S. territory, or the District of Columbia.
• Professional legal experience required at specified GS levels.

Responsabilidades

• GS-12: Two years of professional legal experience at GS-11 level or equivalent.
• GS-13: Professional legal experience in excess of 2 years commensurate with duties.
• GS-14: Professional legal experience in excess of 3 years commensurate with duties.
• GS-15: Professional legal experience in excess of 4 years commensurate with duties.
