Job summary

Defense Information Systems Agency invites applications for attorney positions at the GS-12 to GS-15 levels. Applicants must hold a law degree (LL.B. or J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school and maintain active bar membership in a U.S. state, territory, District of Columbia, or similar jurisdiction.

Duties scale by grade: GS-12 requires two years of professional legal experience at or equivalent to GS-11; GS-13 and above require progressively more experience commensurate with responsibilities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• The second professional law degree (LL.M.) plus 1 year of professional legal experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 level

Duties Performed at the GS-13 level:

• The attorney shall have professional legal experience in excess of 2 years that is commensurate with the duties and responsibilities of the position.

Duties Performed at the GS-14 level:

• The attorney shall have professional legal experience in excess of 3 years that is commensurate with the duties and responsibilities of the position.

Duties Performed at the GS-15 level:

• The attorney shall have professional legal experience in excess of 4 years that is commensurate with the duties and responsibilities of the position.
