Job summary

AMT, located near Cleveland, Ohio, is hiring for General Assembly roles in a clean and sterile environment. The position offers a $500 sign-on bonus and an additional $500 after completing a 90-day orientation period.

1st shift runs Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm, with a focus on assembling feeding sets and related products. Applicants should be at least 18 years old and capable of reading and interpreting English instructions, communicating effectively in English, and handling

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively communicate in English
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Establish priorities, work independently with minimal supervision, and facilitate teamwork.
• Attention to detail; ability to read, analyze and interpret written materials; comply with policies; respond appropriately to feedback.
• Physical: lift up to 25 lbs; stand/sit for hours; tolerate moderate to high noise; PPE requirements.

General Assembly Position Summary

Assembly of feeding sets and other basic assemblies or products using like materials/components/assembly procedures. General Assembly employees will work in a clean and sterile environment!

Essential Job Functions

• Mental: Must be able to effectively communicate with others; complete and understand analysis of numbers; read, analyze and interpret written materials; compliance with company policies; respond appropriately to feedback to make improvements; maintain positive working relationships; troubleshoot and solve problems. Attention to detail. Ability to handle repetitive tasks.
• Physical: Must be able to hear and verbally communicate. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. Stand, walk, or sit for hours at a time. Moderate to high noise level, exposure to isopropanol, exposure to pvc pipe primer (Acetone, Cylohexanone, Methyl Ethyl Keton, Tetrahydrofuran), limited exposure to physical risk. Ability to handle and manipulate small components. Ability to see items 1/32' or smaller, good eye-hand coordination, ability to handle repetitive tasks.
• Lab coats, hair nets, beard covers (if applicable), and shoe covers must be worn

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Ability to establish priorities, work independently with minimal supervision, and facilitate teamwork.

Equipment Used: Go/no-go gauges, solvent dispensers, heat sealing equipment, compressed air guns, manual and semi-automatic assembly fixtures, computers, barcode scanners
