Indiana University Health is opening U Health Fort Wayne Hospital, a new 140-bed facility launching in 2027. As an anesthesiologist, you will contribute to building a comprehensive anesthesia program and support a wide range of surgical cases, including cardiac, neuro, orthopedic, GI, and more.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Team-oriented and adaptable, committed to excellent patient care.
• Willingness to engage in collegial environment and drive alignment across the anesthesia group.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care across a broad range of surgical cases.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, and perioperative staff to deliver high-quality care.
• Participate in call responsibilities as part of a fair rotation.
• Support a team-oriented culture focused on patient safety, efficiency, and collaboration.
• Work with a broad mix of cases including cardiac, neuro, orthopedic, GI, and more while collaborating with podiatry and general surgery.
