Job summary

MercyOne Waterloo and Cedar Falls are seeking a General Anesthesiologist to join a collaborative team at two modern hospitals in northeast Iowa, located ~15 minutes apart. Enjoy 9 weeks of paid vacation (roughly 12 weeks with a 10-hour shift model), extra call pay, and vacation buy-back options while maintaining autonomy in case management and a broad, engaging case mix.

The position offers a guaranteed salary of $600K with potential up to $680K, plus $150K in bonuses, employer-paid malpractice

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care at two modern hospitals (MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center and MercyOne Cedar Falls Medical Center)
• No open-heart procedures and diverse case mix including general surgery, orthopedics, spine, ENT, OB, pediatrics, neurosurgery, IR, and more
• Autonomy in managing own cases within a collaborative anesthesia team of physicians and CRNAs
