Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for a Perinatal and Maternal Outpatient Therapist at the Horizons Orange County site in Carrboro, NC. This role focuses on gender-responsive, evidence-based services for pregnant and parenting adults with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, document encounters, provide brief counseling, and facilitate gender-responsive therapeutic groups

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services discipline with coursework related to the area of assignment.
• Licensure: LCSW, LCAS, LMFT, LCMHC, or provisional license.
• Experience with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop initial treatment plans.
• Document therapeutic encounters and provide brief counseling.
• Facilitate and co-facilitate gender-responsive groups within a multidisciplinary team.
