Job summary

Office of Technology and Solutions Integration (OTSI) seeks an AI Strategy & Transformation Leader to drive GenAI and AI-focused solutions for California’s Health and Human Services Agency (CalHHS). You will guide GenAI initiatives, build strategic solutions, and collaborate with CalHHS leaders to standardize data access across the 12 departments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading GenAI or AI strategy initiatives.
• Ability to partner with multiple departments and leaders.
• Strong background in data access standardization and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and advance Generative AI and other AI/technical solutions for CalHHS.
• Develop GenAI strategies and technical solutions in collaboration with CalHHS leaders.
• Standardize access to data across CalHHS and its 12 departments.
• Improve Californians' equitable, friction-free, timely access to health and human services.
• Contribute to GenAI risk management practices and workforce training.
