Job summary

McKinsey & Company is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join our Platform team, focusing on Python, API development, LLMs, and data integration. You will work with senior leaders and a distributed team to deploy custom features for Defense and Government clients.

You will leverage React/NextJS, Python, and cloud services to build scalable AI-powered solutions, ensuring robust security and compliance in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Defense experience with data at various classification levels.
• SECRET security clearance required; TS+ preferred.
• 3+ years as a Software Engineer; enterprise platform experience preferred.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Expertise with AI agents / agentic applications.
• Experience with React and NextJS, Neo4J, PostgreSQL or cloud equivalents.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Cloud deployment across AWS, Azure, GCP a plus.
• Knowledge of containerization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy features on an AI Platform using Python, React, and NextJS.
• Collaborate with senior leaders, CST leaders, practice leaders and engineers.
• Deploy platform customizations for Defense and Government clients.
