Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in CS or related field.
• 2+ years leading a research agenda.
• 2+ years in an applied research setting.
• Experience in software engineering (coding, reviews, design discussions).
• Experience in AI/ML.

Responsibilities

• Advance Gemini's multimodal understanding and generation capabilities with engineering and research expertise.
• Design, implement, and scale state-of-the-art LLMs for image/video understanding.
• Drive end-to-end experiments across pre-training and post-training.
• Build robust infra and data pipelines for multimodal training and evaluation.
• Collaborate with Researchers and SWEs to productionize research prototypes.
