Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to design and deliver AI-driven analytics for investment banking and brokerage ops. You will leverage Python, PySpark, Azure ML, and Generative AI to build scalable ML models and enterprise-grade apps.

In this role, you will implement LangChain, LangGraph, RAG, and Agentic AI frameworks to automate workflows, ensure governance, and drive data-driven decision making across globalization efforts. Collaboration with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Science, ML, AI engineering, or related fields.
• Expert-level Python and PySpark for large-scale data processing.
• Strong experience with FastAPI, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Hands-on with LangChain, LangGraph, RAG, and AI frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced ML models using Python and PySpark to analyze financial datasets.
• Build predictive, classification, clustering, and risk models for banking operations.
• Perform model validation, back-testing, and experimentation with market data.
• Lead Generative AI solutions using Azure OpenAI Service and GML techniques.
• Develop enterprise-grade AI applications with FastAPI and microservices.
• Establish model monitoring, lifecycle management, and governance practices.
