Job summary

Google is seeking a Manager of a GenAI Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) team in the United States. You will lead AI/ML engineers delivering bespoke agentic solutions directly within customer environments, mentoring the team while coordinating with product, engineering, and Google Cloud GTM leadership.

You will help resolve production blockers, data readiness, and integration challenges to achieve enterprise-grade AI maturity.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in cloud computing or a technical customer-facing role.
2 years of experience managing a software engineering, FDE, or a similar technical customer-facing team in a cloud computing environment.
Experience developing AI/GenAI solutions utilizing AI tools, or designing multi-agent workflows or RAG systems.
Experience in Python or a similar coding language.

Responsibilities

Lead AI/ML engineers who bridge frontier AI products and production-level solutions within customer environments.
Provide technical mentorship while aligning with product, engineering, and Google Cloud leadership.
Resolve production-level obstacles including data readiness and integration complexities.
Roadmap collaboration with product/engineering and build internal tools for efficiency.
Drive customer success and contribute to the Google Cloud GTM strategy.
