Job summary

Ameriprise Financial is seeking a Commercial & Distribution AI Engineer who will partner with Sales, Marketing and Distribution teams to translate ambiguous commercial needs into high-value AI tools.

You will rapidly prototype LLM-enabled solutions spanning CRM intelligence, meeting prep, campaign analytics, and distribution reporting, then take them to production with strong security and governance practices.

Qualifications

• Strong Python skills to drive production-quality code.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore.
• Experience with AWS engineering practices and rapid prototyping.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, version control, and API design.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales, Marketing and Distribution to translate needs into implementable AI solutions.
• Rapidly prototype and iterate on LLM-enabled tools (CRM intelligence, meeting prep, analytics, reporting).
• Take prototypes from whiteboard to working solution with minimal handholding.
• Integrate solutions with agent runtimes and internal data platforms, ensuring security and governance.
