Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 to drive AI-driven digital transformation for financial services. You will engage in requirements elicitation, design discussions, coding, testing, and documentation across banking, wealth management, and insurance projects.

Key focus areas include Generative AI, LLMs, RAG-based apps, document processing, embedding models, semantic search, and LangChain/Graph frameworks. Strong Python and cloud platform experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent; progressive experience accepted in lieu of education.
• Willingness to relocate and travel to work/project locations in the US.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements elicitation, documenting business needs with guidance.

Area Of Responsibility

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

Required Skill And Experience

• Experience in Generative AI concepts with hands on experence on LLM's
• Experience building RAG based applications
• Experience in Document Processing, Embedding Models, Semantic search, Vector Indexing
• Experience in LangChain, LangGraph, and any Agentic AI frameworks
• Have experience with any vector databases.
• Hands on development experience with Advanced Python programming.

Preferred Skill And Experience

• Work with Cloudera Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Impala,PySpark) for data ingestion, transformation, and analysis
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of data modeling and analytics best practices
• Exposure to streaming or near-real-time analytics
• Understanding of data governance and security frameworks
• Partner with business users to translate requirements into scalable analytics solutions
• Ensure data quality, performance tuning, and query optimization across platforms.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
