Job summary

Advanced Software Talent is seeking a Technical Project Manager in the San Francisco Bay Area to coordinate delivery across internal engineering teams and external partners. You will maintain the delivery plan, write clear Jira stories, and ensure traceability from requirements to testing, while coordinating with the Director of GenAI Applications.

This role requires deep knowledge of software delivery, APIs, cloud services, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as Technical Project Manager.
• Experience delivering software with multiple engineering teams and external partners.
• Strong Jira/Confluence skills with documentation and dashboards.
• Clear technical documentation and testable acceptance criteria.
• Understanding of software architecture, APIs, data flows, cloud, testing, release processes.
• Excellent organization, written communication, and follow-through.
• Comfort collaborating with business, product, engineering, data/AI, platform, security, and vendors (global).
• Preferred: enterprise software, AI/ML, distributed systems, cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain delivery plan, milestones, dependencies, risks, and decisions.
• Coordinate follow-ups and handoffs across internal teams and external partners.
• Keep priorities and blockers clear with leadership visibility.
• Provide concise status updates from delivery teams to leadership.
• Create and maintain Confluence docs for solutions, architectures, interfaces, dependencies, and processes.
• Translate requirements into Jira stories, subtasks, and testable criteria.
• Keep Jira/Confluence aligned for easy status tracking and ownership.
• Support backlog refinement, planning, demos, release readiness, and acceptance tracking.
