Job summary

Intone Inc in Jersey City, New Jersey, seeks a GenAI Data Scientist Programmer for a 12-month contract. You will design and execute end-to-end Generative AI projects and develop Large Language Models such as GPT and LLaMA, building robust applications with agentic frameworks.

You will implement embedding models, evaluation frameworks, and REST APIs using FastAPI and WebSockets, while leveraging Redis, MongoDB, and distributed technologies like Spark, Kafka, Hadoop/Hive, Slurm, and Neo4j.

Qualifications

• 2+ years delivering end-to-end Generative AI projects.
• Professional Java development experience.
• Experience with LLMs (GPT, LLaMA) and LangChain/LlamaIndex.
• Experience with embedding models and evaluation tools (RAGAS, LangSmith, Arize).
• REST APIs and FastAPI development experience.
• Experience with Redis and MongoDB; distributed data tech like Spark/Kafka.

• Work with LLM development frameworks to create robust applications
• Implement embedding models and evaluation frameworks for model performance assessment
• Develop REST APIs and real-time communication layers using FastAPI and WebSockets
• Design and optimize solutions using enterprise data stores and distributed technologies

Qualifications

• Required
  • Professional Java development experience
  • 2+ years of professional experience executing end-to-end Generative AI projects
  • Experience with Large Language Models (e.g., GPT, LLaMA)
  • Experience with agentic frameworks (e.g., LangGraph)
  • Experience with LLM development frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex)
  • Experience with embedding models (e.g., all-MiniLM-L6-v2, nomic-ai)
  • Experience with evaluation frameworks (RAGAS, LangSmith, Phoenix/Arize)
  • Experience developing REST APIs and FastAPI
  • Experience with enterprise data stores including Redis and MongoDB
  • Experience with distributed and big data technologies including Spark, Kafka, Hadoop/Hive, Slurm, and Neo4j
• Preferred
  • Experience with MCP (skills-based orchestration)
