Zusammenfassung

Highmark Health invites applicants for the Summer 2027 Applied Gen AI/Data Scientist Graduate Internship. This internship focuses on Generative AI, LLMs, AI Agents, and related technologies to solve real-world healthcare challenges and improve member and clinician experiences.

As part of the AI Services and Platforms Research & Development Team, you will design, develop, and evaluate GenAI solutions, gain hands-on experience, and collaborate with AI researchers, data scientists, ML engineers,

Qualifikationen

Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in CS, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
Pursuing a Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, ML, or related field.
Strong programming skills in Python.

Aufgaben

Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders to plan assignments.
Under supervision, provide professional services aligned with day‑to‑day objectives.
Undertake and participate in projects to develop professional skills.
Support planning and implementation of unit projects and initiatives within area of expertise.
Conduct research and reporting inclusive of recommendations for action.
Engage in enrichment programs and related studies as appropriate to the unit’s objectives.
