Job summary

Sia seeks a Data Scientist Consultant with a strong interest in risk, compliance, and regulatory topics to support clients’ data needs, analyze datasets, and deploy data science solutions. You will work on forward-deployed analytics, GenAI-powered applications, and AI governance to help clients comply with GDPR, EU AI Act, and licenses.

Reporting to the Data Science teams, you’ll collaborate with client teams, design data pipelines, and build predictive models and AI agents that deliver

Qualifications

• Master's degree or engineering degree in a quantitative field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Proficiency in GenAI application frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of model ecosystems (OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral AI, Hugging Face).
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Partner with client leadership, engineers, and data analysts to understand data needs.
• Identify, acquire, and explore data sources; analyze large structured and unstructured data.
• Build predictive models and ML algorithms; deploy GenAI-powered apps that meet regulatory requirements.
• Design and deploy GenAI/LLM systems (GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, Mistral).
• Develop prompting strategies to improve reliability and control.
• Communicate insights through dashboards, datasets, and bots.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams across engagements.
