Job summary

Quantiphi is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer/Architect to design, optimize, and scale GenAI infrastructure. This role emphasizes GPU profiling, distributed training, and multi-GPU environments for production-grade deployments.

You will collaborate with data science, MLOps, and application teams to build GenAI pipelines and ship scalable platform foundations using Terraform, Helm, and container orchestration tools.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Cloud technology (GCP or Azure).
• Linux systems expertise, performance tuning and multi-GPU optimization.
• Containerization and orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Networking concepts including VPCs, firewalls, and load balancing.
• Experience deploying GenAI workloads (LLM fine-tuning, RAG pipelines, multi-modal systems).
• Familiarity with vector databases and retrieval systems for RAG architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable infrastructure for LLM and GenAI workloads across multi-GPU environments.
• Perform GPU profiling, benchmarking, and optimization for distributed training workloads.
• Manage compute jobs using Slurm-based clusters and OpenShift/Kubernetes environments.
• Enable and optimize the NVIDIA GPU stack (CUDA, cuDNN, NCCL, Triton, RAPIDS, etc.).
• Collaborate with data science, MLOps, and application teams to deploy models.
• Build GenAI pipelines (fine-tuning, RAG, multi-modal inferencing, LLMOps).
• Develop infrastructure templates using Terraform and Helm.
• Contribute to PoCs and client-facing delivery engagements.
