Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge of student needs at different ages and developmental levels.

• Ability to follow policies and adapt to district guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Work with individual students in classroom or developmental center to reinforce learning.
• Work with small groups to reinforce learning material introduced by the teacher.
• Supervise students during lunch, playground, before and after school.
• Translate material for parents, students, and staff.
• Administer tests and assessments and maintain records under teacher supervision.
• Assist with duties related to instruction and related tasks.
• Provide personal assistance as needed (toileting, hygiene, feeding, lifting).
