Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking a hands-on API and AI engineer in Irving, TX to develop Python-based services using FastAPI/Flask, tackle data processing and AI-enabled workflows, and advance LLM-driven solutions.

You will deploy models, emphasize responsible AI, containerize with Docker, and collaborate across teams while documenting code and tests.

Qualifications

• Hands-on development of API services in Python using FastAPI/Flask.
• Experience with data processing and AI-enabled workflows using Python.
• Knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG architectures.
• Familiarity with deployment, containerization, and version control.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python APIs using FastAPI/Flask and ensure robust testing.
• Implement AI/ML workflows and NLP components across environments.
• Deploy AI models with containerization (Docker) and monitor performance.
• Review code, maintain documentation, and promote responsible AI practices.

Job description

Hands-on experience in developing API Development in Python using FastAPI/ Flask framework

Working experience in Data Processing, AI enabled workflows using python

Knowledge of LLM, Prompt Engineering, RAG Architecture, Agentic AI.

Basic knowledge of Hybrid prompting technique

Good to have:

Working experience with Gemini LLM

Hands-on knowledge in machine learning frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras

Hands-On knowledge on NLP

Understanding of model deployment and containerization (Docker).

Understanding of version control systems (Git).

Awareness of AI compliance, data privacy, and responsible AI principles

AI workflow development

Deployment and maintenance of AI models across all environments including Production.

Code review, testing and documentation

Continuous learning in Generative AI related fields
