Geek Squad Delivery Driver (Valdosta, GA Store 789)

Job Description

As a Geek Squad Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering, installing, repairing, and hauling away appliances, televisions, and other tech devices of basic complexity. This role involves determining the best methods for delivery and installation, including measuring and protecting areas in the customer's home, and deciding whether doors or fixtures need to be detached or moved. Internally, this position is referred to as a Delivery Experience Agent.

What you’ll do
  1. Perform delivery duties, including installation, networking, and repair of devices, focusing on home theater equipment and appliances.
  2. Provide a seamless customer experience by advising on product placement, services, and additional content.
  3. Manage inventory and vehicle maintenance collaboratively with team members.
  4. Handle paperwork and payments, provide feedback to store teams, and complete in-store repairs.
  5. Train new drivers.
  6. Lead and assist with two-person jobs and work independently when required.

Minimum qualifications:

  • At least 6 months of experience in consumer electronics delivery, integration, networking, repair, or military equivalent.
  • Current, valid driver’s license.
  • Driving record that meets Best Buy’s safety standards (e.g., minimal violations/accidents).
  • Ability to lift and carry weights up to 350 pounds alone or 700 pounds as part of a team, using appropriate equipment, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Ability to acquire and maintain any required state or local licensing within 90 days of hire.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Leadership, decision-making, communication, and client relations skills.
  • Experience in in-home installation environments.
  • Experience with technology products and learning about new tech.
