GE Vernova’s Power Conversion internship offers hands-on experience in providing electrical power conversion systems for Naval, industry, marine, and Oil & Gas applications. You will contribute to MV & LV power converters, motors, transformers, E-house, switchgear, and related power systems engineering in an advanced concepts team.
You will learn to develop base software packages, model power electronic controls, and participate in safety, quality, and project deliverables.

As a member of the Power Conversion Co-op/Intern Engineering Team you will be an active contributor to providing Electrical power conversion systems for Naval, industry, marine, and Oil & Gas applications. Typical scope includes MV & LV power converters, motors, transformers, E-house, switchgear, and control as well as the associated power systems engineering.
As an intern of the advanced concepts team, you will be an active contributor to the latest developments of power electronics – working on technologies for switching, cooling system etc.

The pay for this position ranges from $21.00/hr - $34.00/hr based on years of undergraduate/graduate field of study completed.
