What you’ll do

• Sourcing Intern: Achieve lowest possible cost for material, balanced against optimum quality and schedule needs. You may solicit and evaluate proposals employing appropriate negotiation, cost, and price analysis techniques, using available expertise from supporting organizations; Additional projects may involve implementing purchase contracts following applicable company and government regulations, and evaluating current and anticipated requirements.

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

• Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in an engineering or supply chain discipline, which includes Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Welding Engineering, or similar discipline.
• Bachelors or Masters degree-seeking graduation years: December 2027, May or December 2028, May or December 2029

The pay for this position ranges from $21.00/hr - $34.00/hr based on years of undergraduate/graduate field of study completed.

• Relocation Assistance:Co-op/Interns will be reimbursed for reasonable, proper, and documented expenditures incurred while initially reporting to work and returning to school/home upon completion of the assignment. • Housing Allowance:Co-op/Interns employees receive a weekly housing allowance to help offset living expenses when the co-op/Intern’s permanent residence is at least 50 miles away from the work location.
• Employee Assistance Program, providing 24/7 confidential assessment, counseling, and referral services
• GE Retirement Savings Plan (RSP) after their accumulated service reaches 90 days, and they meet any other eligibility requirements as defined in the plans. (Eligibility occurs on the 1st of the month following the 90th day.)
