Google Portland, OR, USA seeks Silicon Engineer- P and D- (gCPU), Design Verification for multiple openings. Base salary range: $168,800 - $198,000 with 15% target bonus plus equity and benefits. Hybrid schedule possible; English proficiency required.

Responsibilities include verifying custom silicon for data centers and consumer devices, and completing object-oriented design verification. Team focuses on platforms and devices across environments, developing hardware and software to ensure fast,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• Master’s degree plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• 2 years of experience in Computer processor architecture and processor microarchitecture; 2 years in SystemVerilog/C++/VHDL; 2 years in Constrained random verification; 2 years in Formal verification tools (Jasper or VC Formal), Simulation (VCS and Xcelium), Emulation (Cadence, Synopsys, and Siemens), or Post-silicon validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, optimize, or verify custom silicon chips for data centers and consumer devices.
• Complete object-oriented design verification.
• Develop networking hardware and software for Google’s custom chips.
• Design and build servers, storage systems, and other hardware components for data centers.
• Conduct verification and testing of the silicon design.
