Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a GenAI engineer to design, build, and deploy production GenAI solutions for insurance clients in the US. You will translate architecture into code, craft RAG pipelines, and deliver services on Google Cloud with CI/CD.

The role requires 4–8 years in software/data/ML engineering, 1–5 years hands-on GenAI experience, strong Python and web framework skills, and experience with Vertex AI and related GCP services. You will collaborate with client teams in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years in software/data/ML engineering with 1-5 years hands-on GenAI experience.
• Proficient with Vertex AI and Google Cloud Platform services.
• Strong Python and web frameworks (FastAPI or Flask); async, pytest.
• Hands-on with Gemini API, Vertex AI SDK or Google Gen AI SDK.
• Experience with RAG design and vector stores.
• Familiar with LangChain or LangGraph; ADK tooling.
• REST API design, Git, Docker, CI/CD.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, client-facing.

Responsibilities

• Build GenAI applications with Gemini models on Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform Vertex AI.
• Design and tune prompts, structured outputs and function calling for insurance documents and forms.
• Build RAG pipelines with embeddings, vector search and Vertex AI Search.
• Develop agents with ADK and deploy on Agent Engine; integrate tools and APIs.
• Extract and classify documents with Document AI and Gemini multimodal input.
• Ship services on Cloud Run or GKE with CI/CD in Cloud Build.
• Write evaluation sets and run quality, latency and cost checks for Gen AI solutions.
• Apply guardrails, PII masking and data protection.
