Infosys DNA is hiring a GCP Cloud data engineer with Java and Apache Spark to join a delivery team in the USA. You will work across the SDLC, document requirements, design software, and add features while maintaining stability.

The role emphasizes hands‑on coding, code reviews, and production support, with opportunities to implement test strategies and develop training materials for smooth transitions to new applications.

Qualifications

• Strong hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficiency in BigQuery and Google Cloud Storage (GCS).
• Expertise in Scala and/or Python for data engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements elicitation by documenting business requirements.
• Facilitate software design discussions and document design decisions for the team.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features into existing applications with focus on stability.
• Conduct code reviews, modify codebase and maintain repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes.
• Develop user training, documentation, and support frameworks for new software.
• Resolve production issues and suggest preventive strategies to improve reliability.
• Maintain detailed records to enrich knowledge base for similar projects.
