Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a seasoned Data Engineer for our client in Dearborn, Michigan. The role focuses on designing, developing, and supporting scalable data solutions for enterprise data collection, integration, transformation, storage, and analytics.

Qualifications

4+ years of Data Engineering experience.
Experience with data warehousing, modeling, ETL/ELT, ingestion and transformation.
Hands-on with GCP, cloud-native development and deployment.

Responsibilities

Translate data requirements into scalable data solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for ingestion and transformation.
Build data platforms including data warehouses and data lakes.
Develop data models supporting analytics and reporting.
Ingest and transform diverse data sources, landing into BigQuery.
Create stored procedures and DB objects for data processing.
Develop automation tools and scripts to improve workflows.
Utilize Cloud Functions, Data Fusion, Airflow, and Astronomer to orchestrate workflows.
Monitor and optimize data infrastructure for reliability and quality.
Identify opportunities for process improvements across data platforms.
