Job summary

Arkhya Tech Inc. in the United States is seeking a software/data engineer to design and build scalable data pipelines and cloud-based services.

You will implement transformations in Python/Beam and Java/Spring, ensure robust testing, and maintain high-performance microservices running on Google Cloud Platform.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, document solutions, and contribute to DevOps enablement with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Experience designing data pipelines and ETL in cloud environments.
• Proficiency with Java/Spring and Python/Beam for transformations.
• Familiar with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
• Knowledge of DevOps tooling (Gradle, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Ability to document solutions clearly and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable data pipelines from on-prem systems to Google Cloud Platform services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Composer).
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs in the technology domain.
• Build and maintain high-quality, high-performance software.
• Develop transformation libraries in Python/Beam (e.g., SCD patterns, data quality checks, masking/tokenization).
• Design, develop and maintain high-performance Java-based applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and support DevOps through CI/CD pipelines.

Job description

• Develop scalable, secure data pipelines from on-premises systems of record to Google Cloud Platform services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Composer).
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
• Build and maintain high-quality, high-performance, scalable software
• Develop transformation libraries in Python/Beam (e.g., common SCD patterns, data quality checks, masking/tokenization routines).
• Design, develop and maintain high-performance Java based applications
• Experience in Java Application Development, Multi-threading, Spring, SQL.
• Strong knowledge of Java (Java 8 or later) Spring framework and RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with Microservices architecture and cloud platforms
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools (Gradle, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Exposure to Kafka/Google Pubsub for real time data processing
• Document and demonstrate solutions by writing documentation, diagrams, and code comments
• Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Support ongoing data management efforts for Development, QA and Production environments
• Leverage knowledge of industry trends to build best in class technology to provide competitive advantage.
