Fidelity Investments is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to join the Cloud Platform and Security Team. You will own secure-by-default cloud controls across Google Cloud, partnering with platform, product, and security teams to reduce risk without slowing delivery.

The role emphasizes influencing the team with security trends, delivering cloud-native solutions, and driving policy standards across cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field with 4+ years of experience in software and cloud infrastructure engineering.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and cloud-native security tooling.
• Experience balancing business priorities and tradeoffs between pace and perfection.
• Hands-on experience designing and building containerized applications on cloud platforms.
• Proficiency defining Cloud IAM, RBAC and least-privilege principles.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.
• Experience leading or supporting cloud security incident response and root cause analysis.
• Ability to drive security policies and standards for Google Cloud based on industry standards.
• Preferred experience with AI-assisted tools to improve engineering productivity.
