Job summary

Guitar Center is seeking provisional band teachers to join our Music Education Services department to provide music instruction at the schools we serve. This role is part-time with a cap of 20-24 hours per week and may include substitute duties as needed.

Ideal candidates have a passion for teaching music and energy for engaging students. Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education, some teaching experience, eligibility for state teaching licensure, and a valid driver’s license

• Prepare or follow given lesson plans for days that you are teaching and provide progress reports of the students when required, including student attendance.
• Maintain quality relationships with school administration and principals
• Coordinate with Music Educators to participate in their concerts
• This role will be a maximum of 20-24 hours per week
• Additional duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's Degree is required in Music Education
• Some Teaching Experience Preferred

Pay Rate:$25 - $30/hr depending on background and experience.
