Guitar Center Stores, Inc. in Chicago is seeking an Operations Associate to support inventory control, shipping/receiving, and merchandising for a fast‑paced retail setting. You will handle cash, signage, and stock management while contributing to a high‑energy customer experience.

The role requires the ability to work in loud environments, weekends/holidays, and lifting up to 40 lbs. The company provides medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must be able to work in a loud environment for 5-8 hours.
• Must be able to work weekends, holiday, and evenings.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Tasks related to inventory control.
• Shipping and receiving of gear and other items.
• Cycle Counting of Inventory (preparation and execution).
• Stocking and merchandising to a planogram.
• Printing and placing of signage and price signs (POP).
• Cash Handling.
• Shrink awareness and control.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Pay Rate: $17.30/hr - $25.95/hr depending on background and experience.
