Job summary

Guitar Center in Anchorage is seeking an Operations Associate to support daily store operations, including shipping/receiving gear, inventory control, and merchandising to a planogram. You will assist in keeping the sales floor stocked and ensure accurate signage and pricing.

Responsibilities include cycle counting, cash handling, and maintaining loss prevention awareness in a fast-paced retail environment. Weekend, holiday, and evening shifts are required, with lifting up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work in a loud retail environment for 5–8 hours.
• Weekend, holiday and evening availability; ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

As our Operations Associate, you will be responsible shipping and receiving stock/shipments, administer daily tasks, and ensure product is merchandised for the customer to have a great experience in our stores.
