PalAmerican Security is seeking a Residential Gate Security Officer to serve as the first point of contact for residents, guests, and vendors, ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming community environment.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate integrity, professionalism, strong communication skills, and a commitment to exceptional service while maintaining security procedures and gatehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be a U.S. Citizen.
• Possess a valid Florida Class D Security License.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Pass a comprehensive background investigation.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Own and maintain a reliable smartphone.
• Possess basic computer proficiency and the ability to operate gatehouse systems.
• Have strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Be able to work independently and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to residential communities and properties.
• Verify and authorize entry and exit of residents, guests, contractors, and visitors.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises to identify and prevent security concerns.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, and security incidents.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, or unauthorized individuals.
• Accurately complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
• Contact emergency services when necessary and assist during emergency situations.
• Maintain a professional presence while providing excellent customer service to residents and visitors.
• Enforce community access policies and security procedures.
