Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is seeking a Gatehouse Attendant (Night) to monitor shipping/receiving access control and perform data entry for operational efficiency at our Albuquerque facility.

The role requires basic data-entry skills, Excel familiarity, and the ability to work 12:45PM - 9:15PM, Monday through Friday, in a food distribution setting. A high school diploma and good communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3 months of work-related experience required; or combination of education and experience
• Food service industry experience preferred
• Computer and data-entry skills required; working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to read and interpret rules/guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions
• Basic data entry (10-key by touch) skills
• Ability to learn and use relevant internal applications
• Basic math skills, as well as ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
• Able to work in extreme temperatures (cold and hot)
• Good communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions
• Self-starter with ability to multi-task
• Excellent organization skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Customer-focused
• Strong attention to detail
• Good problem-solving skills
• High School graduate or equivalent

Note: Normal schedule for this position is 12:45PM - 9:15PM Monday - Friday. You must be able to work this schedule to be considered for this position.
