Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking a Security Officer/Guard to cover on-call shifts with a flexible schedule. The role supports various client sites and involves 16–40 hours per week, primarily on 2nd and 3rd shifts.

A valid driver’s license and basic computer skills are required, with potential walking up to 2 miles per shift. Applicants should have more than 2 years of security experience, pass a drug screen and background check, and meet licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.

• Must meet and continue to meet state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at the client site, ensuring security and safety of property and personnel
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking; may involve stairs and uneven terrain
• Lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally as part of duties

Wage: $20.00/ hour

Job Requirements of the Security Officer/Security Guard include but are not limited to:

• Security Officers/Security Guards observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Additional physical requirements of the security officer/guard may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
