Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit seeks a Gate Access Control Security Officer to monitor and control access at client sites. This on-call role covers 2nd and 3rd shifts with 16-40 hours weekly and requires a valid driver's license, strong computer skills, and over two years of security experience.

Weekly pay is provided, with growth opportunities and benefits including health, dental, and vision. Applicants must pass drug screening and background checks and meet licensing requirements for Security

Qualifications

• Must have excellent Customer Service skills.
• Pass our drug screen and background check.
• Must be able to meet state/county licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
• More than 2 years of security experience required.
• Must have a full and valid driver license.
• Flexible schedule and on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at the client site to ensure security and safety of property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking; may be required for long periods; may involve stairs and uneven terrain.
• Manual handling up to 25 pounds when needed.

Gate Access Control Security Officer

Wage: $20.00/ hour

Officer will be on call to cover open shifts and will not have a set schedule. The number of hours worked will vary based on need (16-40 hours per week). Will cover 2nd and 3rd shifts. Must have a full and valid driver's license. Will work vehicle gate access control. Must have a flexible schedule. Must have good computer skills. May walk up to 2 miles per shift. More than 2 years of security experience required.

Security Officer/Guard

• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard

Job Requirements of the Security Officer/Security Guard include but are not limited to:

• Security Officers/Security Guards observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Additional physical requirements of the security officer/guard may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
